| TWYFORD AND RUSCOMBE THEATRE GROUP |
|
|
We are a small friendly group of people, with a wide range of ages and backgrounds, who come together to enjoy a good social life and the thrill of staging real live theatre productions. The group was formed in 1967 by village stalwart Sybil Stephenson. Co-incidentally it was around this time that the old boys school in the village centre was vacated by the children and so we leased it from the Polehampton Trust. It has been the focus for all the groups activities ever since and is perfect for our needs. Loddon Hall was also built around this time and became the normal venue for our productions. A certain times of the year we can be very busy, but new members are the life blood of the group and are always welcome.
