READING ABBEY RFC

Rugby is the players' game and we are a players' club. Formed in 1956 to provide rugby for youth players who could not get into existing local clubs, Abbey has never forgotten its roots. While we are nowadays fortunate to be a family club with three generations playing and helping to run the cub, we still place great emphasis on the quality of our rugby and the warmth of the welcome that we afford to guests, new members and especially new players. Reading Abbey Rugby Club run 4 senior sides, a Colts (Under 19) team and a full Mini and Junior section. Our First XV compete in the South West 2 (East) League (national level 6). This web site will give information on all aspects of the club including fixtures, results, current league status, training times and directions on how to get there.
