23/06/2012 EMMER GREEN SUMMER FAYRE - LONDON THROUGH THE AGES
Reading families and friends are warmly welcomed to Emmer Green Primary School on Saturday 23 June 2012 for a summer afternoon of fun, food and festivities. This year’s Summer Fayre theme is London: Thru the ages and will celebrate the fantastic history of our capital city as well as the incredible global focus on this year’s ‘Jubilympics’. The stalls and entertainment will be open between 5 and 8pm, with a well stocked bar open longer for the mums and dads! The event will include local live band Monkey Shock, Giant Inflatables, a 'Back To Basics' Olympics, a ‘London’s Burning’ barbecue and cultural food tasting, Hunt for the Crown Jewels, the ever popular silent auction, 'Hook a Thames Swan', a London Zoo Soft Toy Tombola and a Wembley Shootout.
