Go Canoeing Explore Family Tour is a leisurely-paced paddle that gives you the opportunity to get out on the water with your nearest and dearest and explore the environment, taking in the local wildlife, scenery and architectural heritage. They’re ideal if you haven’t had much canoeing experience and provide a great way for you and your family to take some time out, absorb your surroundings and enjoy the freedom of being on the water. Beer, Biscuits, and Bulbs are what Reading is known for as the three industries once employed thousands within the town. The magnificent River Thames provided the opportunity to get resources upstream and manufactured goods downstream. This trip passes the Kennet Mouth which has been navigable since at least the thirteenth century, providing wharfage for both the townspeople and Reading Abbey.
